I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. The rooms were initially disappointing as they smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, but once we got settled, the break was comfortable. However, the noisy surroundings of a school and a busy road made it hard to relax. Additionally, a surprise cost at check-in for an extra bed left me feeling a bit frustrated.
The hotel rooms had balconies overlooking the street but were not noisy, which was pleasant. However, accessing the lift during meal times could be a challenge. The lack of a bath mat was a downside. The entertainment in the magic cafe was disappointing, but the bar staff were brilliant. We were part of a large group of couples.
The hotel rooms were poor, old, and in need of upgrades, with issues like the key card losing data daily and malfunctioning air conditioning. Despite a room change, the stay was uncomfortable with safety concerns and unhelpful reception staff. On the positive side, the location was good with easy access to the beach and shops.
